Manchester United bid 25 million pounds for Portuguese U-21 striker Benfica.

Manchester United Football Club of the English Premier League Football. Reportedly considering the possibility of a £25m bid for Benfica striker Gonzalo Ramos in the transfer market next summer.

The 21-year-old spear has been in contention for the club this season with a record of eight goals in his first 12 games, resulting in Ramos’ name being caught in the eye of the Red Devils by Erik Ten’s side. Haag has set an offer ceiling of £25m for the striker.

Estimates from British media suggest that the Glazer family will delay refusing to approve the big budget for the Dutchman to strengthen his squad in the upcoming January market. But they are also assessing the situation of bringing in a new striker at the time if Cristiano Ronaldo still wants to leave Old Trafford, while Marcus does. Rashford and Anthony Martial remain sidelined with injuries at the moment.

Manchester United’s Newcastle team were also closely monitoring Ramos’ situation last summer, according to reports. But Eddie Howe’s side eventually close the deal for Aleksandr Isaac from Real Sociedad for £63 million.

The Benfica has a record 71 appearances for the team, scoring 22 goals in nine assists since making his debut with the team in the 2019/20 season, before becoming a key player in the club. The forward last season joined Darwin Nunez, a former teammate who became a member of Liverpool.
